Sightseeing flights

Only 40 km offshore the northern coast of Iceland we cross the Arctic circle on landing at Grímsey airport. At Grímsey there is no need to go to sleep during the summer with the sun shining 24 hours a day. We will stop for one hour at the island and we strongly recommend a walk to enjoy the fantastic bird life on the island. From and to Akureyri we will fly Island’s longest fjord, Eyjafjörður, a 60 km long fjord with a beautiful mountain scenery.
